You will be taught in fully equipped classrooms using a range of teaching materials and techniques.
Our qualified tutors will support and guide you in the classrooms and through tutorials as they help you to develop the skills and techniques required in industry. We offer a programme of social and sports activities to all our students; full information is available from the Student Room at your centre of study. Student rooms are available for those who want to play games, meet up with friends or just chill.
A range of hot and cold refreshments are available to purchase in the canteen and café facilities, as well as vending machines. Halal meat and washing facilities are available at both centres. We have Quiet Rooms for those preferring to reflect. Libraries are available at both centres, fully equipped with a wide range of learning materials and qualified friendly staff on hand to support you.
Assessment is designed to fit the purpose and objective of the qualification and all units are internally assessed – giving learners the opportunity to demonstrate skills developed in applied scenarios. There is a range of assessment styles suited to skills and sector-based qualifications at this level. All units are graded from Pass to Distinction to encourage skills development and performance.
Learners are assessed using a variety of styles to help them develop a broad range of transferable skills so you will not be limited to writing essays.
