The Built Environment sector is about the design, construction and management of our human-made surroundings. Projects can range from building a single home to multimillion pound large-scale projects such as building a new infrastructure or eco-town.

There are many opportunities in the construction industry with the demand for skilled workers higher than ever before. Our courses are specifically designed to help you straight into employment. We work with local employers to ensure that what you learn meets the current demands of the industry. Our highly trained and experienced tutors will teach you the skills needed to work in a range of technical, professional and managerial roles in the industry, including design, subverting, tendering and measuring. Our students have participated and won many regional and national competitions including Worldskills UK. Students have also won awards such as the Pearson National Apprentice of the Year Award.

The construction industry offers a wide and varied range of careers across all salary bands. Entry-level jobs start at £20,000, with higher paying jobs at £70,000 depending on level, experience and type of role.
