Our welding courses are designed for a range of abilities: from beginners who need basic welding training, to experiences welders who want to develop specialist skills.
Our level 1 welding courses are ideal for anyone who wants to become a welder and is new to the trade. Level 2 courses are aimed at anyone already working in the industry looking to enhance their welding skills and further their career.
Our more advanced level 3 courses are for experienced welders who need a qualification to progress to complex welding work and quality control.
We offer the following types of welding programmes:
- Levels 2 and 3 in Fabrication and Welding – full-time
- City & Guilds short courses – part-time
a) Level 1 three process
b) Level 2 four process
c) Level 3 four process with a choice of sheet, plate or pipe - Advance Welding codes
The 4 processes are MMA, MIG/MAG and TIG.
Students will select the most appropriate pathway and level for their requirements, assessed on their experience and ability by their tutor at the start of the course.

Upon successful completion of each level, you can progress onto the next. Job opportunities include fitter welder, pipe fitter, maintenance welding operative, sheet metal worker, plater fabricator and welder.

The average welder fabricator salary in the United Kingdom is £24,375 per year or £12.50 per hour. Entry level positions start at £21,938 per year while most experienced workers make up to £30,600 per year.
