The Level 3 Award in the Design, Installation, and Commissioning of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) is specifically designed for practicing electricians, electrical technicians, and engineers who already possess knowledge of electrical installations, inspection, and testing. This course provides the necessary training to upskill their existing abilities, enabling them to install Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS), with a focus on battery storage technologies.

Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671 (current edition).
  • Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations or a combined award that includes Periodic Inspection & Testing.

Course Duration

Learning will take place over 2 days.
