Originally from Greece, Ignasio and has continued to study in the UK with the College of North West London.
“I love how my teacher, Yacob, treats us students. He's one of the best teachers I've had in my life and I'm glad for everything he's done for me.”
Ignasio described being a recipient of the Student Attendance Support Initiative as “an honour.” He loves the ocean and aims to become a personal trainer.
Before joining the College of North West London, Jagruti previously studied social care level 1 and 2 and was a pupil at Alperton Community School.
“I enjoy the course in many ways; the teachers are very kind and excellent at teaching. Our teachers give us the confidence to work and the opportunity to ask questions on any topic.”
When she completes her BTEC, she plans to enter the working world and is very optimistic about doing so.
Yasika studied functional maths skills and ESOL English before beginning her course in applied science. She completed her high school education in India before coming to the College of North West London. She plans to go on to study biology at university and then to train as a teacher.
“Our science labs have all the facilities we need for the science department and in the teachers are very helpful and encouraging.”
Vasudev plans to go to university to study chemistry and further intends to become a chemist.
“I enjoy doing experiments on my course.”
