GCSE Success at United Colleges Group

United Colleges Group is beaming with pride as students receive their GCSE results today. The hard work and determination of our students have truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements.

Our students have shared their experiences and future plans with us, reflecting on their time at college and how their results will shape their next steps.

Astrid, who studied Chemistry and Biology, is thrilled with her grades. "I achieved a 5 in Chemistry and a 6 in Biology, and I plan to take Physics and Psychology next year, which are the prerequisites for Dentistry. The teachers here are excellent, offering continuous support throughout my studies and providing past papers for revision, which are really helpful for exams."

Liquat, who completed a Level 2 Plumbing course and GCSE Maths, is excited about his future. "I am really happy to have passed my GCSE Maths. It is a requirement in the plumbing industry and will help me through my Level 3 Plumbing Course and my time in the workplace."

Kristina is celebrating her GCSE English success with a grade 5. "I am really happy with my results. My time at college was full of mixed emotions, a lot of ups and downs, but the teachers were extremely supportive and encouraging. My English teachers made the lessons fun and enjoyable. I am now off to Brunel University to study Product Design Engineering."

Raquel is delighted to have passed GCSE Maths after two years of hard work. "This is my second year taking GCSE Maths, and I’m very happy to have passed it. The college is awesome with good arts studios and extensive work experience support. I would like to further my studies in the arts field and study art appraisal in university."

James successfully completed Applied Science Level 3 and GCSE English, paving the way for his dream career. "I had a great time at the college and will ensure to come back and speak to the teachers and the enrichment team as I was a member of the basketball team. I am going to Buckinghamshire University to study Aviation Management. I have always been interested in flying, and passing my GCSEs has given me the opportunity to do so. The teachers and careers team were excellent and have helped me so much throughout my time at college."
