The City & Guilds ITQ is suitable for anybody who uses IT whether at home or work.

The flexible structure and assessment methods of the ITQ mean that it suitable for a variety of courses in the classroom or almost any workplace or job role as part of an intended career. This program meets the local demand for IT or employer needs from office automation to web development for businesses.

What will I study?

This course will give you the opportunity to develop your understanding through the provision of a broad range of optional specialist units

  • provide a comprehensive and challenging programme of study related Office skills, Programming, Web design and Cloud Technology.
  • give you the potential opportunity to progress to employment or to employment in a wide range of job roles across the Information Technology sector, for example in roles such as software engineer, website content manager, computer animator, helpdesk support, and graphic designer.
  • allow you to further specialise by including units that require 60 Guided Learning Hours of study.
  • give you opportunities to develop transferable skills related to study and vocational application that provide a platform for success both Information Technology and elsewhere.
