She describes her journey at College of North West London as life changing, saying “all my fears that I initially had completely diminished once I realised how supportive and friendly the staff were with aiding me with my future.”
Aqsa started her CNWL journey by studying BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Applied Science in which she received distinction. She then progressed onto studying BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science, this time remarkebly achieving triple distinction.The broad knowledge that she gained at CNWL allowed her to progress to university to study BSc Biomedical Science, where she successfully graduated and proceeded to complete her Masters Degree in Haematology and Transfusion Science. This success has led her to begin her working career at a GP surgery.
What’s next for Aqsa? After a gap year, she is planning on completing a PhD. She credits CNWL for her career, saying “the science courses ensured that I gained the theory, skills and practical techniques for a rewarding scientific career. My success by no doubt started with the College of North West London. This is not the end yet, this is just the beginning.”
