If you like working with your hands, a career in painting and decorating could be for you. A diverse and rewarding trade currently in high demand, the job varies from applying paint, wallpaper and finishes to internal and external surfaces, to working in the public and/or commercial sectors.
Our Painting and Decorating courses are designed to prepare you for a career in these trades. You’ll gain in-depth knowledge and skills in painting and decorating, ranging from how to apply paint systems by brush/roller to learning how to hang preparatory papers and apply basic decorative techniques. You’ll also learn about how to carry out safe working practices, communication skills, building methods and construction technology.

Progression
On completion of Level 2, you can go directly into industry or progress onto Painting & Decorating Level 3.
