The Care sector is a major employer in London. Clinical and nursing staff are in demand from NHS hospitals but there are also many other employers for trained staff, including GPs, care homes, dentists' surgeries, home care providers, councils and private clinics.
If you are interested in working in health care or social care, qualifications are essential and the College of North West London can give you a great start. We have a range of courses that will help you progress, whether you are just starting out in the care sector or aiming to improve your existing skills. Students also benefit from a wide network of work placements in Hospitals, Nurseries, Day Care Centres and other care settings.
Many of our students progress to university, for example studying Nursing, Environmental Health, Social Policy, Criminology, Welfare Studies and Nutrition.
