Upon disclosure to the College of North West London, the service we can offer are:
- Dedicated, bespoke enrolment process with a guided tour of the college
- Careers, Guidance and Course advice
- Access to one to one support from our Looked After Children/Care Leavers Champion
Dedicated, bespoke enrolment process with a guided tour of the college
We understand that Looked After Children/Care Leavers are the most vulnerable students. We aim to provide an enrolment process which unique and bespoke to the students’ needs. Entering a new college environment could be very daunting. In order to remove such barriers we can offer a college tour to enable the young learner to adapt to learning environment and facilities offered before college starts.
Careers & Guidance
Access to our Careers, Guidance and Course Advisors is integral to placing the right student onto the right course. We would like to ensure access to the most up-to-date information, advice and guidance to enable a well informed decision on the courses and future plans.
Access to one to one support from the LAC/CL Champions
Once enrolled and disclosed, we aim to allocate a Looked After/Care Leaver Champion. The benefits are:
- Dedicated Caseload Worker
- We also offer an enhanced financial support packages for 16-18 years olds of up to £1,200 and 19+ Care Leavers could get up to £600 and other benefits such as travel and course fees.
- Regular one to ones meeting
- Attendance monitoring
Services we offer to Local Authorities
We can provide regular updates to the Local Authorities on the students’ progress, attendance and any other matters. This can be provided in a frequency which suits the Local Authority.

- Payments queries for financial support

Having a main contact will benefit the Local Authorities by reducing the number of staff members to contact within the organisation.
Progress updates on attendance and achievements
We can provide regular updates to the Local Authority on the students’ progress, attendance and any other matters. This can be provided in a frequency which suits the Local Authority.
Payments queries for financial support
Students may contact the Local Authority for issues with payments relating to Financial Support.
Service Level Agreement
Students may contact the Local Authority for issues with payments relating to Financial Support. By having a designated looked after child and care leaver champion will hugely benefit the Local Authority.
